Our Company
Richard Russell created R3 Excavation with a vision of bringing transparency to civil construction in southwest Montana, allowing our clients to trust their work is being done correctly. We are driven to provide our clients with the most honest and dedicated service while working with each client to achieve their goal in a clear, straightforward approach they understand. Richard spent years working for companies in both Idaho and Montana on projects as personable as private ranches, as large as a billion-dollar industrial project, and as responsible as environmental reclamation. He was a commercial utility foreman here in Bozeman when the time came for him to start R3 Excavation as a third-generation construction leader.
At R3 Excavation, we believe in critical problem solving and communicating solutions in every step of a project from initial design to final completion. Our team’s wide-ranging expertise gives us a strong understanding of how dirt work fits into a project as a whole so we can give homeowners the understanding they’re looking for, and corporations the skills of a larger company at a smaller scale. Rest assured that from the simplest of grading jobs to the complexities of underground utility installation, you will have a professional product that will last many years.
